Welcome
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to Stisted CE Primary Academy. Our academy is part of the Canonium Learning Trust -a family of schools united by a shared purpose that aims to provide every child with the best possible education. Every child is warmly welcomed into our school.
Stisted Primary Academy is a smaller than average Church of England school. We currently have 104 children split into 4 classes serving the village and beyond. The majority of children currently live outside the priority admission area and travel into the village.
We have a strong Christian and inclusive ethos and a curriculum that focuses on character and personal development as well as academic achievement.
Our dedicated and caring team of staff enable children to take part in all aspects of school life in a meaningful way, regardless of their background or starting points.
We are proud of our calm, nurturing, purposeful and orderly learning environment; our ambitious curriculum and sustained high standards of attainment across the school in all areas of learning both in terms of academic excellence and personal development.
Located in the heart of the beautiful village of Stisted, we offer children:
A great start with a Reception Class of 15 pupils
Residential trips including sleep overs from Reception to Year 6
Well-tailored lessons that build on children’s prior learning, needs and interests
Forest School for Reception aged children
An early years approach built on the principles that underpin Montessori education
Strong academic results in reading, writing and maths when compared with schools nationally
Breakfast Club
Enhanced provision for children with special educational needs
Extra-curricular activities and after school clubs
A strong focus on emotional well-being, pastoral support and Basil, our therapeutic dog.
Visits are warmly welcomed and we would be extremely delighted and proud to show you around our school.
