Our Staff

Mrs. Danielle Welsman, previously the Head of School, has stepped into the role of Headteacher. 

In addition to her leadership role, Mrs. Welsman is the school's Literacy Lead and oversees the daily provision for special educational needs. With over 15 years of experience as an outstanding Key Stage 1 teacher at Stisted Primary Academy, she was appointed in January 2023 to support the Executive Headteacher in the school's day-to-day operations. Mrs Welsman is the Assistant SENDCo and Desginated Safeguarding Lead for the school.

Drawing on her extensive expertise, Mrs. Welsman leads the Trust’s Phonics Scheme, trains student teachers, and delivers cooking, music, and French lessons across the school. She also contributes to instructional practice, providing support to schools across the Trust.

The Headteacher is ably supported by Mr Gareth Williams, an outstanding practitioner, who has also worked at the school for over 15 years and has vast experience of teaching children in Key Stage 2. He is the Mathematics subject lead and a keen cricketer. Mr Williams is the Deputy Safeguarding Lead for the school.
